Cheddar Hockey Club has been running for over 60 years now. We are a friendly local club that caters for all levels of skill and ability. We currently have 3 ladies teams (for ages 13+) and new for the 2026-27 season, a second Men's team. We provide popular junior sessions (for year 6 onwards), which are a great gateway into the adult game.
For the 2026/27 season, we are in the following West leagues... Our Ladies 1sts are in Division 2 Central, 2nd team are in Wessex Division 1 and our 3rd team are in Wessex Division 2. Our Men's 1st team are in Concorde Division 3 and 2nd team are in Concorde Division 4 Dev.
We welcome players from age 13 upwards - there is definitely no upper age limit! Lots of ladies and gentlemen have joined us who haven't picked up a hockey stick since their school days.

Get in touch about junior sessions for year 6 onwards. They are a great gateway into our adult teams, and are held in 8 week blocks directly prior to the adult training on Monday nights. Advanced booking required to attend.
